# System

> Learn how to manage your Wandelbots NOVA OS installation in Setup. Understand version updates, diagnosis packages and health warnings.

> **Info:** `System` in Setup is only available starting NOVA OS 26.8.
> On prior versions, open the `Settings` icon at the left end of the home screen's bottom bar for the installation's version,
> available updates, license status, and diagnosis package download.

System is the area of Setup where you manage the Wandelbots NOVA OS installation itself, separate from the robot cells running on it.

## Version and updates

System displays the installed NOVA OS version and whether an update is available.

> **Warning:** Updating deletes the existing cell configurations on the instance.
> Export your configurations before you update, then import them again afterward.

1. Open Setup and go to `System`.
2. Export your cell configurations.
3. Start the update.
   → NOVA OS updates to the latest version.
4. Import the cell configurations previously exported.

## Diagnosis packages

Create a diagnosis package from System to share installation details with Wandelbots Customer Success when troubleshooting an issue.

## Health warnings

System lists warnings about the installation, for example when the hardware doesn't support [SR-IOV](/nova/26.8/installation/sriov). This is unrelated to which version of Setup is shown: a robot still connects over a standard network interface either way.
